Simple Things You Can Do To Help Our Shelter!!

1. Bedding, baby blankets are so appreciated or you could make some homemade hammies!

2. Gently used items, If you have an extra cage laying around or some other ferrety items, we can use them. Bring em on in!

3. Ferret toys, the shelter ferrets just love getting in new toys!

4. Office supplies. Printer paper, ink (hp color 57, black 56), computer disks etc.

5. Treats or a bag of the shelter's brands of food. (Totally Ferret, 8 in 1 ultimate, Zupreem and Marshall)

6. Grooming supplies

7. Books on ferret care for the shelters library

8. A ferret first aid kit

9. A gift certificate to a local pet store or office supply store

10. Offer to put a link to the shelter's website on any of your own sites.

11. Send the cost of a set of vaccinations to the shelter's vet in the shelter's name.

12. Cleaning products - Paper towels, detergent, bleach etc.

13. Shelter supplies- litter boxes, litter, bowls, water bottles, ferretone etc.

14. Collect spare change from co-workers and make a donation to the shelter.

15. A prepaid gas card. (Have you seen those gas prices???)

16. A gift card to Wal-mart or other discount stores for fabric, cleaning supplies or other shelter items.

Michigan Ferret Rescue inc. doesn't receive any state or government funding. All of the monies used to care for these sweet little creatures are derived from adoptions, cage and supply sales, donations and personal funds. We welcome all donations as caring for these kids can get quite expensive. Please consider donating today!
