Higgins is approx. 5 years old. He came to us with three other cagemates in the summer of 2005.  These three kids were being kept in a storage unit and desperately needed our help.  When they  came in, they were just slightly dehydrated, but in otherwise great condition for what they went through.  The other two furkids were healthy enough to go to new homes, but something about Higgins told us to hold to him.  As it turns out, Higgins is adrenal and would benefit from surgery. He has been introduced to his foster moms geriatric bunch, and he seems oh so happy there.
